With a kind donation from Brookhaven National Lab, SXNS 15 Organizing Committee offers travel grants to undergraduates and graduate students (not for domestic students) presenting papers at SXNS Conference. Applications must be received no later than submission deadlines listed below. The Committee may ask additional application requirements, due to the limited funding availability. Grant Amount to each eligible recipient might be varied, depending on the budget circumstances and participant's needs.
CATEGORY 1. Students from countries other than US.
CATEGORY 2. Students from US.
Applicants are required to send an email, titled “Student Travel Support Request (CATEGORY 1 or 2)” to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email must contain 1) the title/abstract number, 2) your short CV, and 3) a short recommendation of your supervisor by May 5, 2018 (11:59pm, Korean Standard time). Decisions for the grants will be made and sent by email to the recipients by May 15, 2018. please contact email@example.com for questions.
To be eligible, you must:
• be registered as a full-time student at a higher education institution (e.g. University); AND
• be explicitly listed as an author of an abstract accepted for ICNS 2018
We anticipate different levels of funding based on geographic location (distance to conference venue, underrepresented regions), level of participation, and so on.
